I made myself a pizza today.. GASP! I know most people won't allow themselves to eat that but I do... in moderation of course! I immediately put two pieces on my plate after calculating if I would be okay the rest of the day with my calories. After that I went for the fridge to grab some ranch.
To my dismay we are out of ranch and honestly I can't tell you the last time it has been in our house! This summer which would mark the halfway mark of my journey since the Beginning of March I realized that alot of my calories have always come from condiments (and pop but I kicked that habit months ago)!!!!
It's funny now but I was so weird about my condiments that I had specific favorite ones at EVERY restaurant and with pretty much every meal. It was so bad that if they just happened to be out I would have a freak out fat girl moment on the poor cashier. I'm hoping I'm not the only one who has done this a time or two.
But since I realized that I don't really need them to enjoy my food it is rare that I even use them anymore. Don't get me wrong there are still foods I can't have them without like French fries, hamburgers, and hot dogs (which I don't have very often at all).
Crazy how you think you HAVE to have something when in reality you don't!!
Also another crazy thing I just noticed and I'm sure I have been doing it for a few months now but I chew my food prolly 3x more than I used to!!!(No I don't count how many times I chew my bites)
I remember when I used to eat a HUGE meal in under 20mins and inhaled it and didn't taste much of it. Or at past holidays I would be starving before I sat down to eat and would clean my very large plate in a matter of minutes it seemed like.
NOW I chew my food and if its a finger food I will take a bite and sit the rest down till I'm done chewing Or I will place my utensil down and then proceed versus just shoveling it in my face!
Another thing is I used to have to have several king size candy bars a day. Now I enjoy a few fun size candy bars just to kick the craving and it works way better than scarfing down something else!
Have a great Tuesday ladies!

Focusing on the little habits that change really helps me work on the bigger habits I need to change!
