New recipe & the usual randomness

Well after reading the pirate mama's new post I have made a new plan...I know, I know what your thinking "she keeps making these "plans" and then changing her mind that bitch cray"....BUT this is MY journey and although I have lost ALOT of weight (read: 78lbs) I am constantly learning new thing to try to get to my ultimate goal (read: 100lbs)
I have heard of the harris benedict formula for almost a year now and thought it was extremely crazy and I try not to believe everything I read on the internet...But my fellow fitcamper and blogger showed me on her latest post that it worked for her so I'm going to try it myself.
At this point in my journey I have to keep confusing my body so that it won't get used to what I'm doing and will continue to lose weight.
One of the main reasons I want to try it is because I have been training so hard to lose the last of my weight and for upcoming races that my running has been UM...Shall we say lacking something....And I have been trying to keep my calories pretty low. I have been dealing with some female problems on top of feeling like my body is tired though I have plenty of herbalife to keep my energy up. And I have been having dizzy spells which isn't normal AT ALL! I know that I'm needing more calories but my brain is so fixated on staying around 1200-1400 calories a day no matter how active I am. I need to go off how my body feels and to remember that food is fuel. You can't run a car for very long on low fuel or it will have mechanical problems or worst break down.

After I did the Harris-Benedict equation it told me that to maintain my current weight before my activity level  I need to be eating 1,586.5 calories. So if I don't do one thing all day that is what I should eat in one day to just maintain. BUT on a normal day with all my activities I need to be eating 2,855.7 calories again to just MAINTAIN and it states that if I want to lose weight that I need to subtract 15-20% of the biggest number....So I chose 20% obviously which brings my total to 2,284.56 calories. This has showed me that I have been basically starving myself. I will no longer feel bad if I eat between 1500-1800 calories a day and I will try to retrain my brain on what I have recently learned.

Now on to the new recipe that I found on Pinterest and tweaked abit. I have completely stepped out of my comfort zone with these foods! I have been slowly using more and more turkey in my recipes and haven't made anything even close to this before! Go me!

I don't have a name for it But my husband claims that its like a "hobo dinner" that he used to eat growing up. I have never heard this term before so I don't know.

I'm not good at making out recipes so bare with me.
Things you will need:
-1 red pepper
-1 green pepper
-2 Potatoes
-1 package of turkey smoked sausage
-Aluminum Foil

Step 1: after preheating oven to 400
cut in small pieces the red bell pepper and the green bell pepper.

Step 2:
Cut the potatoes and sausage into small cubes. I cut everything in half and put them in two separate foils so that it would be 2 servings and not one huge serving.

Step 3:
I didn't use any spices. I like natural flavors.
I evenly put all the ingredients together in a pan and baked for 30-40 minutes.

The finished product!
To me it tasted like something was missing so I ate a little more than half of one with 2tbsp of BBQ sauce and it was AMAZING!!!

Happy Saturday!
