A New goal and random things

I have been weighing myself about once or twice a week for a little while now and my weight has been fluctuating about 2-3lbs for the last month. It says that I'm up a total of 7-9pounds from my smallest weight and I noticed yesterday that it's been almost 3 months since I have lost any more weight and I got really discouraged.

We focus so much on the number the scale says but I finally realized why. Someone asked me the other day how much more weight I have lost... it took me by surprise and a few seconds later I replied with "I am only losing inches and working on toning up".... Her face was confused and in disbelief. I haven't seen her face-to-face in a few months ( I think sometime in march? maybe).

It's hard to tell someone I haven't lost any weight but have lost "X" amount of inches.. People don't understand that. They know pounds...

But I went thru some of my old high school clothes that are just shy of being 10 years old (gah I feel really old now!!!) .. Ya'll remember about 2 months ago I posted about how I was craving to fit into those bad boys again? (I'm on my phone so I can't tag the post)

Anyways, I can now fit more than half of them perfectly and even wore a pair of those jeans (see above picture)! The scale claims I've gained 7-9lbs and that I haven't lost any body fat... nothing but lies!!!! Also I'm about 20lbs heavier than what I was when I wore those clothes!

Oh and I bought some Dri-more performance capris from Walmart... They are awesome I grabbed a size 8-10 thinking they would be "goal" pants and nope they fit like a glove!!!!! I forgot to take a pic in them earlier so here is one from Walmart's website...

I snoozed right thru my 5 am alarm and decided to go for a run with the baby diva later.

Once I got to the track I decided to download a 10k training app... free of course {I'm a cheap betch;)} And I made a new goal that by this time next year I will run a 10k! I know I'm really early on my training but I want to be able to run it with ease and not feel like I'm dying by then. I am also hoping that it will help with my speed. We will see!
