Last night/today is prolly the worst experience I have ever had as far as being a mom goes. My baby girl woke up at midnight last night making a horrible sound, one I hadn't ever heard from her before. I instantly woke up from a deep sleep and jumped up though I had only had 3hours of sleep...(yawn)
I went into her room to find a huge (for her size) pile of puke. She hasn't ever puked before...I instantly got worried, cleaned up the mess, stripped her down and drew a warm bath to clean her up because she decided it would be awesome to roll around in it.
Needless to say that after 4hours or so the on again off again puking stopped the casualties in this war were 2bears, an elephant, and yours truly! (sick) I had flashes of Vince Vaughn in 'Four Christmases' screaming at me saying go away or I'm going to do it too...Btw that's one of my favorite Christmas movies. My husband surprisingly stepped up to the plate last night. Everything I asked him to do he did it with no questions asked, no complaining, no childish temper tantrums, and no raising his voice or starting a fight. I gotta tell you ladies this has to be a monumental moment I think I might have to write that date and time down so I can remember it if it never happens again.
Mind you I love my husband...not all day, everyday but I do love him.
Enough about the ball and chain.....
I have started a new journey on Friday and will be making it public this Friday so stayed tuned for that! I'm pretty excited about it and I'm hoping yall will be too! ;)
And I'm also hoping by next week after taking those tests (THIS FRIDAY) that I will be starting a second journey as well.
I have been busting my ass on the few days I get to go to the gym which are only on my husbands days off. The baby has been going to bed between 530pm-630 here lately and I don't know why I don't get up and workout at home like I used to. I'm going to have to get with it. And I have been slacking like crazy on my running. It makes me really sad. I tried running on a treadmill and could barely run a mile and my time was horrible but I need to push through since there are about 5 races I'm dying to do next year.
There are a few challenges that are going on this month whether its planks or squats and even though I'm 2days late with them maybe I can catch up...I sure do love a good challenge.
On the upside I have lost 65lbs altogether! Only 35 to go...Still have my hopes up that I can get these last pounds off by mid February!
Happy Maniac Monday Friends!
