Weekend recap and summertime is finally here!

Praise The Lord for a 3day holiday weekend! I'm not used to this. I have worked most holidays for the last 6 years!
I love my job but unfortunately it's only temporary for 6 months. Please pray for me or if you aren't religious send good vibes my way that I may find a permanent job that is equal to this awesome job.

Anywho, My weekend recap goes something like this...

Friday I got off work early to get ready for mine and the hubs date night. As you read in a post from last week we were suppose to go out of town with some friends but decided to stay close to home. We ate a nice Italian dinner then go to the movies. We couldn't agree on a movie that we both wanted to see and that wouldn't be extremely packed so we settled on the Hangover 3.

I have to say I loved the first one, the 2nd one I had a hard time sitting through It was long and boring and frankly not funny to me at all. So I was extremely doubtful that the new one was going to be any better.

**SPOILER ALERT**
If you haven't seen the new Hangover movie then stop reading this paragraph now and continue to the next paragraph. I thought this one was almost as funny as the first. The things I didn't like about this one: Doug wasn't in this one...again, Phil took a backseat and wasn't given many lines, Alan is funny but Phil is hot and funny, I didn't find one thing that Mr. Chow said to be funny most of what came out of his mouth was just awkward. Over all I thought it was really good not as good as the first though. 😉

We decided to come home and relax for a little while before going to bed because we were both miserably full from dinner still. Once we got home a single friend of my husbands called and wanted us to come over and have a few beers. A little bit after we got there a few of his (my husband's friends' friends) showed up. They were alright just really sketchy, You know the people who look like they just got out of prison and are scoping you out to see if they can pick pocket you. Yeah and not to mention my husbands friend we'll call him Rick (that's not his real name obviously) he acts like the "good ole boy" a southern gentleman. But I can see right through Rick he is the guy who thinks that all women want him and all men want to be him. Ummm, No!

By 2am I was beyond tired and pretty drunk.

Something caught my eye, it was Rick and Rick's bestfriend's wife (lets call her) Lisa holding hands behind their backs and Rick even kissed her hand when they thought noone was looking... Really? Not only was Lisa's husband present during this and was completely oblivious to what was going on but I couldn't believe how disrespectful it was. I don't condone cheating and I don't like to be around it. But I'm sad to report that we don't know 1 COUPLE that has been completely faithful to their spouse. I try to keep my mouth shut but it just is sad. Every single couple we know including family members have cheated! Neither of us have cheated in any relationship we have been in and it's hard to be around others who have especially the ones who feel there is nothing wrong with it.

And Sunday I cleaned the house and relaxed with my baby diva.

It's now summertime and that not only means lots of time spent outside mainly in small amounts of clothes but also plenty of time spent in and around water!

I'm an Aquarius so naturally I'm a lover of all things water and always have been and since my daughter is also an Aquarius that is how most of our summer will be spent!

Sadly, that also means past AND present insecurities are front and center. All that is/will be posted on every social media website and gossip site for the next 3-4months will be these.

Or at least similar. Yes, I have lost a lot of weight. No, I don't care that my entire mid section is covered in stretch marks. But I do care that I'm not at the size/weight I'm dying to be at or my body toned as much as I would like. And I do care that my stomach sags in the form of a sad face.

Last year I got in water twice. I was embarrassed and thoroughly disgusted with my body at the time.
Once I got in a pool at a friends house in a bikini and the other time I was in a kiddie pool at the in-laws house fully clothed I just rolled up my capri's and floated the baby around the pool in a floaty.

This year I'm going to wear a bikini it will just depend on who's around and where we're at.
