I’m going to be out of town for work tomorrow so I won’t be able to update you on my week of juicing till later this week so be looking out for that.
I wish I would’ve taken more pictures this weekend but honestly I was just enjoying every moment and forgot to take very many.
Saturday I cleaned all day what’s new?. Does anyone ever wonder why we wait to clean till the weekend? I mean if I was smart I would clean during the week even though I’m exhausted and be able to rest during the entire weekend… that never works out though. I had originally planned to do a color run but honestly every time I went to register I got knots in my stomach. I had a very bad feeling about it and I decided to listen to my gut and not register. Thankfully I didn’t because it poured down rain and was in the low 40’s. Even though I have been tired of the awful humidity and outrageously high temps this summer I’m just not ready for it to drop so low so fast. I mean stay in the 60’s and 70’s for just another month or so. Although I have been dying for a year to do this specific run I decided it was best to not run in the pouring down rain with people throwing colorful powder at me. The reason I wanted to do this run so badly was because last year I had to decide between this run and the run I actually did. Financially we just couldn’t afford for me to do both. Whomp whomp
I decided when the baby laid down for a nap that I would go for a run. It had stopped raining and warmed up to 50 degrees. About half a mile in it started sprinkling and about the 2mile marker it was pouring rain. I didn’t mind the rain I just can’t stand for my feet to be soaked and they were for 2 more miles. I ran about 4 miles and decided to stop mainly because it started lightening. Also, this was the first run in two months since I sprained my ankle that I went for a run without my brace. My ankle didn’t hurt it just ached a little bit.

After my run I got the baby ready and we went to a birthday party. I feel so bad because she looked so cute and of course I forgot to take a picture.
That evening the hubs and I went and ate at my favorite local Italian restaurant Pete’s Place. It’s pretty expensive but it is worth it! The last time we actually ate there was Valentine’s 2012 which was also the day that I got induced. We came home and just relaxed the rest of the night. We were going to eat there on our Monday night because it is technically our dating anniversary but I have to go out of town bright and early Tuesday so I vetoed that.
Sunday I went out for a 6 mile run. The first 4 miles weren’t too bad mentally, but physically my ankle and hips were hurting pretty bad even though I wore my ankle brace. I also kept getting side stiches but all in all it was an all right run. I have to constantly remind myself that not every run is going to be awesome or a PR.

I love Sundays I think that it should be mandatory for every family to take a nap. I only got about an hour nap and the rest of the family slept for 2-3 hours. My ankle really hurt and I just couldn’t get comfortable. Womp womp.
The hubs and I decided to go to a matinee showing of Runner Runner. Truth be told I love Ben Affleck and Justin Timberlake movies but this one was not up to par. I literally figured out what was going to happen about 30minutes into it. Two thumbs down for this one.
Also this was the first time EVER that I didn't buy one thing at the movie theater. I brought my juiced pineapple and water! I am very proud of myself!!

All in all it was a great weekend. Most people don’t celebrate their dating anniversary but we do. We both remember the day we started “hanging out” (Oct 2nd, 2010) and the day we became an “official” couple (3 years ago as of today) and the day we got engaged(my birthday!) It’s just fun to be able to celebrate our relationship more than just one day a year
