My eating schedule and my favorite foods

I’m going to post what I eat each day but I’m not going to make a post per day about it so I won’t bore you all to tears.

Yesterday I had a pretty bad eating fest. I ate blindly and didn’t make very good choices. I didn’t eat my feelings I ate out of boredom and honestly because I could. I didn’t have bad cravings except at lunch time yesterday I desperately wanted some subway. And strangely I didn’t enjoy what I ate so that made me feel even worst about my decisions. Enough of my babbling now I’m going to share my food and some of my schedule….

Here is my usual feeding times and what I normally eat when I’m doing good with my diet

6:30am- wake up and immediately go eat a protein bar. I used to wait until I got to work to eat breakfast but sometimes I would get busy and finally get a second to remember to eat breakfast and it would already be 9:30 am and I would be so hungry at that point that I would scarf down my breakfast and then some. This normally makes me less likely to stuff my face out of starvation. And I honestly don’t have time to make breakfast and eat it while getting two kids ready for daycare and myself ready for work unless I wake up even earlier and that is just not an option…okkkkaaay.

7:50am- kids are dropped off at daycare and I’m at work early. Fun fact if I show up on time to work I feel like I’m late and my day is off I have to be 5-10minutes early. Also if I have plans to be anywhere other than work and I show up late it doesn’t really bother me…It used to bother me very badly…to the point that I would just not show up if I knew I was even going to be even 5 minutes late.

9am-10am -some days I’m just not hungry for a snack but others I am so I will eat 1/3 cup of quick oats, 2tbsp of natural Jiff peanut butter, and 3tbsp of natural raw honey.

12pm-Lunch time almost always I go home for lunch and that varies with what I’m going to eat but my favorite is to make a turkey sammich. I use 40 calorie I think its Sara Lee Bread?? I’m not sure I just always remember that it is 40 calories a slice wheat bread, turkey deli about 1-2 oz, light Miracle whip about 2tbsp altogether, and maybe a little mustard or lettuce to add some flavor. But here lately I haven’t been very hungry at lunch time.

2:30pm- my belly is a growlin and so I will either eat an apple/piece of fruit or another bowl of oatmeal.

6pm- dinner and this one varies more than any of them. My cousin-in-law who lives with us is a great cook and he usually whips up something that is not very healthy so I try to eat it in moderation.

As for my foods yesterday these are the horrible decisions I made

Woke up ate a protein bar, morning snack ate my oatmeal mixture, lunch I went home and had a bowl of count chocula with a cup of 2% milk. On my way back to work I stopped by Subway and got a 6in honey oat, American cheese, toasted, with lettuce, tomatoes, banana peppers, pickles, and a little bit of ranch! YUMMY!!! I also grabbed a bag of lays bbq chips. My afternoon snack consisted of several handfuls of caramel candy corn, and a couple tootsie rolls. Even though I wasn’t hungry the family decided that we would get some take out. We don’t eat take out but maybe a couple times a month so we decided to splurge on Sonic. I got an order of mozzarella sticks, a regular chili cheese coney, and ate half of my medium tator tots. I was kind of pleased with my decision on dinner because I used to eat a foot long chili cheese coney with large fries, a large drink, AND an order of mozzo sticks. So even though I stuffed myself like an idiot I could’ve made worst choices.

Today I ate my protein bar like usual, came to work and didn’t eat my oatmeal because believe it or not I’m still full from the insane amount of food that I ate yesterday. I got a little rumble in my tummy around 10:30am so I ate a fruit cup.

These are the main foods I eat

I also try to drink at least a gallon of water a day. This jug is 64oz so I try to drink one full jug before noon and one full jug before 5pm.
